Camilla Luddington revealed the advice she has for Sophie Turner, the latest Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider franchise

Camilla Luddingtonhas advice forthe latest Lara Croftin theTomb Raiderfranchise, which is expanding withPrime Video’s upcoming TV series.

After voicing and performing grueling motion-capture stunts as the athletic character for threeTomb Raider Survivorvideo games from 2013 to 2018, Luddington is now sharing a helpful tip forSophie Turner, who started filming theTomb Raidershow as Lara Croft this year.

“Heating pads,” Luddington, 42, told PEOPLE in a recent exclusive interview. “I did a lot of crazy stuff when I was filming [the video games].”

“I just remember being so sore the next day,” the actress added of her advice for Turner, 30. “I'm sure she has a lot of heating pads already all over her. That would be... Yes, yes. Hot baths and heating pads.”

Turner, who was cast as Lara Croft in September 2025, started filming Prime Video’s TV series the following January. However, theGame of Thronesalum “experienced a minor injury” in March, Amazon MGM Studios confirmed to PEOPLE in a statement at the time.

“As a precaution, production has briefly paused to allow her time to recover," the statement continued. "We look forward to resuming production as soon as possible.”

Prior to the production-halting injury, Turner expressed her excitement about stepping into the intrepid archaeologist’s legendary boots, which were previously filled by actressesAngelina JolieandAlicia VikanderforTomb Raidermovies released in 2001, 2003 and 2018.

“She’s such an iconic character, who means so much to so many — and I am giving everything I’ve got,” Turner said in a statement.

TheDark Phoenixstar continued, “They’re massive shoes to fill, following in the steps of Angelina and Alicia with their powerhouse performances, but with Phoebe at the helm, we (and Lara) are all in very safe hands. I can’t wait for you all to see what we have cooking.”

Meanwhile, when asked if she’d guest star in the upcoming TV series, Luddington told PEOPLE she’s interested in portraying a villain in it.

“Oh, my God, that would be so fun. They have not approached me. Sophie looks great. I’ve seen the pictures. Very exciting,” she said.

TheWilliam & Kateactress added, “Yes, I would love [to guest star] ... I would love to be like a baddie. That’d be fun to be a villain, right? Yeah, I would love that. Thanks for throwing that out to the universe for me.”

Prime Video’sTomb RaiderTV series, created and written byFleabagstarPhoebe Waller-Bridge, does not yet have a release date.
