Linda Thompson Shares Old Photo with Elvis Presley Over 50 Years After They Dated

Featured in Thompson's Instagram carousel was an old photo of the former actress riding a motorbike with Presley back when they dated over 50 years ago.

Thompson was in a relationship with the "Suspicious Minds" singer for four years beginning in 1972. They ended things amicably in 1976, less than a year before Presley's tragic death at age 42 in August 1977.

Thompson later opened up about her romance with Presley in her 2016 memoir, A Little Thing Called Life, where she reflected on the reason why she and Presley ended things.

"When I looked at all the pieces of myself that I had given up on Elvis's behalf, increasingly I saw that staying with him would demand a sacrifice that I was unwilling to make," Thompson wrote in her book. "I'd always wanted to be a mother, but I could not bring a baby into my life with Elvis."

"As much as I loved him," she continued, "I knew I wanted more—and motherhood was just the start."

Linda Thompson's Dating History After Elvis

Following her breakup with Presley, Thompson went on to marry Caitlyn Jenner in 1981, and the pair welcomed two sons together: Brandon, 44, and Brody, 42.

In her Instagram post on Thursday, Thompson, now 75, also shared pictures from throughout her life with Jenner, including photos of their sons when they were just little boys.

"Did someone say throwback Thursday?" Thompson captioned her post. "Here's a little montage of memories…"

"How many people do you recognize?" she added of the photo montage, which included shots of Thompson with a number of other recognizable faces, including Yolanda Hadid, Martin Short and her second husband, David Foster, whom she was married to for over ten years before they divorced in 2005.

"It's a beautiful tapestry that we weave in our lives," Thompson ended her post. "Wishing nothing but love for everyone.❤️🙏🏻"

On Nov. 6, all the stars of the hit Netflix show Stranger Things gathered for the Season 5 red carpet premiere to celebrate the show before the final batch of episodes comes out on the streaming platform.

While the expansive cast of actors was all there, including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, Sadie Sink, and more, there was also a surprise appearance by a fan-favorite from way back in Season 1, as Shannon Purser, who played Barbara "Barb" Holland, arrived at the premiere.

Netflix shared a video of the exciting moment when Purser stepped out of her car at the premiere in a chic suit and her signature short red hair, with the crowd of fans immediately screaming upon seeing the actress. She waved to everyone with a bright smile on her face before entering the event.

Fans online were stunned to see the familiar face, as her character died in Season 1—something fans didn't take very well. Now, Purser's appearance at the premiere of the final season had fans declaring, "🚨 Barb lives! 🚨," in excitement.

"YEEEESSSSSS! JUSTICE FOR BARB!!!!! So glad she's here for the last premiere," said another fan, as more commented, "OMG SHE'S ALIVE," "Wait, is Barb back?!" and "BARB!!!!!!! Everyone loves Barb!"

The ecstatic responses went on, with others saying, "this genuinely made me emotional 😭," and "IM CRYING." Even years after her character died on screen, one loyal fan proclaimed, "My girl! I will still try to avenge you somehow!"

Soon enough, fans started speculating if this meant that the actress returned to Stranger Things in some form for the final season, such as one who said, "Ohhhh yeah she's in season 5 for sure."

Throughout the seasons of Stranger Things, the show became known for its tendency to introduce a character like Barb that fans fell in love with, only for them to die by the end of the season. Along with Purser's character, this also happened with Sean Astin's character Bob Newby in Season 2 and Joseph Quinn's character Eddie Munson in Season 4.

'Stranger Things' season 5 reveals new footage of Will's disappearance

The final season of Stranger Things is going back to the beginning.

Netflix dropped the first five minutes of the horror, sci-fi series' fifth and final season Thursday, and it gives viewers an up-close look at what happened to Will Byers, whose disappearance kicked everything off.

The date is Nov. 12, 1983, just six days after he went missing.

Preteen Will (Noah Schnapp) is singing The Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go" to calm himself —although it doesn't seem to be working — while shivering in the Upside Down. He's even more terrified as a Demogorgon storms in.

While he puts up a good fight and attempts to escape, Will is eventually dragged to meet the villainous Vecna.

Netflix/YouTube

Vecna appears in the new preview of 'Stranger Things'

"At long last. We can begin," Vecna, who's played by Jamie Campbell Bower, tells him. "You and I, we will do such beautiful things together, William. Such beautiful things."

All the while, a tentacle latches onto Will's face and sends a substance through his body.

Co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer told Entertainment Weekly last week that the final episodes of Stranger Things will satisfy eager fans.

Ross teased that viewers would "start to learn more about what happened and what the connection is to all of this and Vecna."

And Matt said specific questions that would be addressed.

"So much of the season was built around the idea of coming full circle, answering many of the questions that were posed all the way back in season 1," Matt said. "I think the two biggest questions that we didn't really answer in season 1 that we do answer this season is: 'What is the Upside Down, truly?' and 'Why was Will taken?'"

'Stranger Things' returns Nov. 26 on Netflix

Matt added, "Because the story really began with Will and his disappearance, it felt, in order to go full circle, it needed to really end with him in so many ways. In the last couple seasons, we hadn't really centered much of the show on Will. So there was so much to explore with him from a character perspective and plot perspective."

The first four new episodes of Stranger Things will be available Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. PT on Netflix, with three more to follow Dec. 25 and the finale on Dec. 31.

Wicked: For Good hits theaters on Nov. 21

Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Idina Menzel, and Kristin Chenoweth have all changed one another for good.

The quartet finally teamed up to harmonize on "For Good," one of the emotionally pivotal musical numbers featured in Wicked. Menzel, 54, and Chenoweth, 57, famously originated the roles of Elphaba and Glinda in the Broadway production of Wicked in 2003. Now, Erivo, 38, and Grande, 32, fill the respective roles in the Wicked films, though Menzel and Chenoweth surprised with a scene set in the first film's Emerald City.

The performance took place during NBC's Wicked special One Wonderful Night, which aired on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. E.T. The special will be available on Peacock starting on Friday, Nov. 7.

The special was largely taped at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre, transforming the venue "into a breathtaking Emerald City-inspired set, complete with a 37-piece live orchestra led by the award-winning musical director Stephen Oremus, plus jaw-dropping musical numbers and unforgettable performances," per an official synopsis.

Grande's opening number, as seen in a PEOPLE exclusive preview, was a new arrangement of "No One Mourns the Wicked," the first song that appears in the musical. In a shimmery champagne-colored gown, the Grammy winner was backed by a large group of backup dancers and a choir supported by a live orchestra. There's even audience participation, as the crowd lifted bouquets of flowers overhead, timed with Grande's high notes.

Erivo's PEOPLE-exclusive clip was a snippet of the tail end of her dazzling Wicked solo "The Wizard and I." In a menswear-inspired look and lit with — of course — green, the British star belts out Elphaba's desire to meet Oz's Wizard as emerald-clad dancers twirl off the stage.

Wicked's music was composed by Stephen Schwartz, and the beloved musical is based on Gregory Maguire's 1995 novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. The story follows the strong friendship that forms between Elphaba Thropp (who later becomes the Wicked Witch of the West) and Galinda Upland (later known as the Glinda the Good) while they are roommates at Shiz University. The characters originally appear in L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

The Jon M. Chu-directed Wicked: For Good is in theaters Nov. 21.
