In his third year in the NFL, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon SmithNjigba is breaking records. SmithNjigba has now set a new singleseason franchise record for receiving yards — hitting the milestone with six games still remaining in the year. The receiver went into Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans with 1146 yards, a little over 150 shy of DK Metcalf's franchise record of 1303. But SmithNjigba went off, earning more than 160 yards to beat Metcalf's record in the third quarter. Metcalf hit the mark in 2020 as part of a 16game season; SmithNjigba passed him in fewer than 11 games.
