After voicing and performing grueling motion-capture stunts as the athletic character for threeTomb Raider Survivorvideo games from 2013 to 2018, Luddington is now sharing a helpful tip forSophie Turner, who started filming theTomb Raidershow as Lara Croft this year.

“Heating pads,” Luddington, 42, told PEOPLE in a recent exclusive interview. “I did a lot of crazy stuff when I was filming [the video games].”

“I just remember being so sore the next day,” the actress added of her advice for Turner, 30. “I'm sure she has a lot of heating pads already all over her. That would be... Yes, yes. Hot baths and heating pads.”

Turner, who was cast as Lara Croft in September 2025, started filming Prime Video’s TV series the following January. However, theGame of Thronesalum “experienced a minor injury” in March, Amazon MGM Studios confirmed to PEOPLE in a statement at the time.

“As a precaution, production has briefly paused to allow her time to recover," the statement continued. "We look forward to resuming production as soon as possible.”

Prior to the production-halting injury, Turner expressed her excitement about stepping into the intrepid archaeologist’s legendary boots, which were previously filled by actressesAngelina JolieandAlicia VikanderforTomb Raidermovies released in 2001, 2003 and 2018.

“She’s such an iconic character, who means so much to so many — and I am giving everything I’ve got,” Turner said in a statement.

TheDark Phoenixstar continued, “They’re massive shoes to fill, following in the steps of Angelina and Alicia with their powerhouse performances, but with Phoebe at the helm, we (and Lara) are all in very safe hands. I can’t wait for you all to see what we have cooking.”

Meanwhile, when asked if she’d guest star in the upcoming TV series, Luddington told PEOPLE she’s interested in portraying a villain in it.

“Oh, my God, that would be so fun. They have not approached me. Sophie looks great. I’ve seen the pictures. Very exciting,” she said.

TheWilliam & Kateactress added, “Yes, I would love [to guest star] ... I would love to be like a baddie. That’d be fun to be a villain, right? Yeah, I would love that. Thanks for throwing that out to the universe for me.”

The 58-year-old actress spoke at the live speaker series, HISTORYTalks 2026, which is organized by the History Channel, on Saturday about a number of things, including learning of her mother's death just prior to accepting the best actress award for "Babygirl" at the Venice Film Festival in September 2024.

"I’d won best actress at Venice Film Festival. This seems to be such a common theme through my life," she said, perThe Hollywood Reporter. "I was about to go on stage, and I found out my mother had died. I went right back to the room in Venice, got into bed and was completely devastated."

She recalled feeling as if she didn't know how she would be able to continue on without her mom, saying, she "was so much a part of my existence. The idea of being there at that particular moment was harrowing."

The "Big Little Lies" star went on to say that "the idea of being there at that particular moment was harrowing," and she began to take steps to leave Venice as soon as possible.

"And then went back into the bed, and I was alone. My husband wasn’t there. My children weren’t there. I’d gone to win an award. What should have been a beautiful thing, ended up with that. But there is the contrast of life."

Having gone through this tragic experience alone, Kidman says she now tells people "that’s when I know I’m resilient," and "can survive pretty much anything."

Kidman's mother, Janelle, died in September 2024 at the age of 84.

"Mom didn’t necessarily get the career that she wanted, but she was determined that her daughters would have opportunities that were equal," Kidman added. "That’s given me my life. And she gave me my life, she and my dad."

Singer D4vd arrested in the murder of teen months after she was found dead in trunk of his Tesla

The singer D4vd was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of a teenage girl whosedecomposed body was found in the trunk of his abandoned Tesla last year, authorities in Los Angeles said Thursday.

D4vd, 21, the “Romantic Homicide” singer whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was being held without bail, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement.

The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office on Monday, police said. The prosecutor's office said Thursday that its major crimes division will review the case.

Attorneys for the entertainer said they were prepared to "vigorously defend David’s innocence.”

“Let us be clear — the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death," attorneys Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski and Regina Peter said in a statement Thursday night after his arrest. "There has been no indictment returned by any grand jury in this case and no criminal complaint filed. David has only been detained under suspicion.”

Burke was arrested shortly after 4:30 p.m. at a house on Marmont Avenue in the Hollywood Hills, LAPD Capt. Scot Williams said.

"We did the best we can to keep tabs on him, but once we developed probable cause to arrest him for murder, then we were on him pretty diligently,” Williamstold the California Postin a statement he confirmed to NBC News.

On Sept. 8, police found the remains of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, 14, in the trunk of a Tesla impounded at Hollywood Tow. Officers were called to the lot because of a foul odor coming from the vehicle.

Inside a black cadaver bag in the vehicle's trunk, officers found a decomposed head and torso, according to court filings associated with a grand jury investigation. A second bag contained dismembered body parts.

The filings say Burkewas the target of the investigation.

It isn't clear how Celeste died. The medical examiner’s office said last year that it couldn't release details about her cause and manner of death because of a security hold sought by police.

The agency didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday.

Celeste was reported missing from Lake Elsinore, southeast of Los Angeles, in 2024, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

The Los Angeles County medical examiner said she was wearing black leggings, a tube top, a yellow metal chain bracelet and stud earrings when she was found. Law enforcement sources told NBC News that the remains weren’t intact. The medical examiner said it appeared she had been dead in the car for an extended period of time.

When news of the remains’ being found broke, Burke was on his Withered World Tour. A spokesperson said at the time that he was aware of what had happened and was “fully cooperating with the authorities.”

FBI analyzing DNA recovered from Nancy Guthrie's home: Sources

The FBI recently received and is now analyzing potentially critical DNA recovered months ago from theTucson, Arizona, home of Nancy Guthrie,sources familiar with the investigation told ABC News.

A private Florida lab that works with the Pima County Sheriff's Department sent the sample to the FBI in recent weeks, the sources said. The FBI is now using new technology to conduct advanced analysis on the DNA sample to see if it can lead to Nancy Guthrie's kidnapper, according to the sources.

An FBI official confirmed the bureau was recently sent a hair sample that was collected in February.

"There is no new DNA evidence in the Nancy Guthrie case. The FBI requested this material over two months ago," an FBI official said. "The Pima County Sheriff's Office sent it to a private lab in Florida. Eleven weeks later, that lab has now transferred an original hair sample to the FBI Laboratory for testing. We remain fully committed to this investigation."

The Pima County Sheriff's Department has previously described the DNA recovered from Nancy Guthrie's home as a sample that came from more than one person and therefore needed to be untangled.

Savannah Guthrie questions if mom's abduction is because of her: 'Too much to bear'

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos recently told a Neighborhood Watch group that it could take six more months to separate the strands and isolate what investigators need.

The sheriff also said as many as five other labs around the country are working on the Guthrie case. It was not immediately clear which ones, what their roles are or whether there are additional DNA samples that are potentially relevant.

About two dozen Pima County and FBI investigators are still actively working the Guthrie case. After investigators released key evidence, likeimages from Nancy Guthrie's doorbell camera, early on, seemingly little progress has been made on her whereabouts or the person or people who abducted her.

Last month,Savannah Guthrie spoke out in her first interview, telling her friend and former co-host Hoda Kotb that it's "too much to bear to think that I brought this to her bedside, that it's because of me."

"I'm so sorry, Mommy, I'm so sorry," Savannah Guthrie said.

And to her family, she apologized through tears, "If it is me, I'm so sorry."

But she added, "We still don't know ... Honestly, we don't know anything."

Savannah Guthrie said her family "cannot be at peace" without answers.

"Someone can do the right thing," she said.

But had a small ‘medical emergency’ on the plane. I very suddenly felt quite ill. And while it seemed like food poisoning, I also suddenly broke out into a cold sweat, got dizzy and my arms went numb.”

Inaba noted that she normally deals with “health things on my own,” and travels with a “tool kit” due to her autoimmune disease diagnoses. “But this scared me,” she said. “And while I was locked in the restroom, we were also experiencing turbulence and the flight attendants had been asked to sit in their seats as well. I didn’t want to have anyone else put themselves at risk… but when my arms went numb, it was time to ask for help.”

In the post’s comments section, Inaba continued, “I’m always thankful for the moments that scare or challenge me especially with my health. They remind me that while I often face my health challenges alone, I am not alone. None of us are. The helpers are everywhere.”

In another lengthy comment, Inaba gave thanks to “all the people who helped me yesterday,” from the flight attendant who let her out of the bathroom, doctors on board who lent a helping hand, the Delta employee who waited with her for the paramedics to take her to the ER, her fellow passengers, her friend, and the paramedics and the ER staff who looked after her.

“I ultimately left the ER to go back to my hotel when I felt stable enough,” she wrote. “And thank you to @iv_king_joseph and @gdjelin for hooking me up with IV Fluids and all@the things I needed to help me recover. I also want to thank the outlets who had to reschedule because of what happened. Please know I’m so looking forward to speaking with all of you about something I am so passionate about.”

Inaba wrapped up the comment by stating she was “so grateful” to her fans and her team.

“The trickiest thing about these autoimmune conditions is that they come in pairs or groups… and they are often ambiguous and don’t show up the same way every time. So you have to be fluid in the way to handle your wellness approach,” Inaba wrote in a January 2020blog post. “You also have to keep checking in with yourself, and stay in tune with happening. It’s a true work in progress. And that is yet another gift. You start to notice YOU. You start to understand how what you do today can affect how you feel tomorrow. You are no longer going to push yourself to the point of exhaustion. You will create healthier boundaries and you will know your body better than you ever have.”

She added, “That is part of the gift of the autoimmune condition. You will pay attention to you and how the world affects you. Which will help you to create the best life possible.”
